Custom UVC LED Modules and Solution Support

Alongside its standard module models, the company's catalogue offers module and solution services, quoted per project.

The published offer

The published offer has two halves. The first is the standard module programme: the catalogued forms — static water modules, lamp-tube modules, light bars and the J-series models — each confirmed per model in the quotation exchange. The second is the custom and solution service the catalogue names alongside them. What a custom project covers for a given brief — its starting point, emitter layout, band and formats — is scoped per project in the enquiry exchange.

The inputs a custom project is quoted against

  • The medium: water, air or surface — the medium the product treats is the first input a custom configuration is quoted against.
  • The dose target: the log reduction and exposure regime the finished product must deliver, at its worst point.
  • The geometry: enclosure or chamber dimensions, the space available for the emitter zone, and drawings where they exist.
  • The duty: cycle pattern, daily operating hours and service interval the product is designed around.
  • Quantities: evaluation quantities and expected production volume.

Module configuration is confirmed with the quotation, against those inputs. Ask in the same exchange what documentation exists for the configured model — which ratings are recorded for it, and in what form they can be supplied.

Custom work, by brief type

An enclosure that already exists — a lamp-era cavity, a tank moulding that cannot change — is stated in the enquiry with the dimensions that cannot change; what configuration it takes is established in the quotation exchange. A multi-stage product — a purifier with a tank stage and an air stage — states the medium of each stage in the same enquiry; the configuration for each stage is established in that exchange. And a product family spanning several sizes states its sizes in the enquiry; the configurations across the family are established per project in the exchange. All three are briefs the quotation exchange works from, stated as inputs; whether a standard model serves any of them is confirmed in that exchange, against the geometry the brief states.

Standard or custom: the honest test

Whether a standard model fits the enclosure and meets the dose target is confirmed in the quotation exchange, against the enclosure dimensions and the dose target stated in the enquiry. Where the brief calls for a custom configuration, the exchange scopes it from the stated geometry, the dose at the worst point and the interface the product needs. State the constraint plainly in the first message: send the medium, the dose target, the available volume and the expected quantities, and the exchange scopes the starting point against them.

How a custom project proceeds

A custom project is quoted per project, against the inputs above. The enquiry names the medium, the dose target, the geometry and the quantities. What the exchange then confirms, case by case, is the starting point for the work, the adaptation it involves, and the configuration and documentation position for the configured model.

Does a custom module change the documentation position?

Documentation is a per-model question in both halves of the programme. For a configured model, ask what documentation exists for that configuration and what it records, in the same exchange that confirms the configuration itself.

The first message for a custom brief

The first message states which starting point the project takes — the standard module closest to the geometry, or a custom brief — with the medium, the dose target, the available geometry and the expected quantities.
