One programme, three engineering problems
Water, air and surfaces are the three media of the company's published application categories. Jason's module catalogue — static water modules, lamp-tube modules, light bars and the J-series models — names forms for each. The medium is stated in a module enquiry, alongside the dose target, exposure regime and geometry the design must answer.
Water, air and surface forms
WATER
Water Disinfection Modules
Static water modules and the water-tank sterilization module named in the company's catalogue keywords.
AIR
Air Disinfection Modules
Module forms for the air category — purification appliances and air-conditioning equipment in the published cases.
The dose thread that ties them together
For each medium, the enquiry names the dose basis the design works to: irradiance at the target multiplied by exposure time, expressed in mJ/cm², against the log reduction the product claims. Ask what irradiance figures are documented for the module model being supplied. The finished product's own geometry, flow and cycle are parts of the calculation that belong to the equipment design.
Devices behind the modules, confirmed per model
The chips and packages behind a module are part of that module's per-model confirmation. Each module's band, rated drive and output class, and which chip and package models it actually uses, are confirmed per model in the enquiry exchange — ask in the same exchange what figures are documented for the model.
The catalogued module types
The company's published module catalogue names six products: a static water module, the J801 and J804 module models, two lamp-tube module types and a sterilisation light-bar set of four bars. What per-model documentation exists for the type a design selects is established in the enquiry exchange.
The module line among the company's product lines
In the company's published product lines, the module range sits alongside deep UV LED chips across 255–340 nm and SMD packages on the 3535 and 6868 formats; the module line itself is published as water, air and surface disinfection modules, with solution services for the three media.
Naming the medium
Buying "a UV disinfection module" as if the category were the product is a specification error. A module enquiry names the medium — the exposure regime and distance behaviour the design assumes, and the module forms named for it — with the dose target and the geometry available to the stage. If your application genuinely spans media — a purification appliance with both a tank stage and an air stage — state each stage's medium in the same enquiry.
One enquiry, three media
Multi-stage products — a purifier with a tank stage, an appliance with an air stage and a cabinet surface stage — can open a single enquiry covering all their module decisions, taken medium by medium in the one exchange.
The six catalogued forms, restated
The module catalogue's six named products are the static water module, the J801 and J804 module models, the two lamp-tube module types and the sterilisation light-bar set of four bars. What per-model documentation exists for the form a design selects is established in the enquiry exchange.
